Business Development Practice Manager

Ian has overall responsibility for the running of the practice. They drives growth and strategic development by identifying new opportunities, managing patient relationships, and overseeing the implementation of business plans for the benefit of patients.

Andrea Johnson (f)

Deputy Practice Manager

Andrea supports Ian with the day to day running of the practice with particular responsibility for data quality, HR and staff recruitment. She joined Woodbridge Practice in 2018 bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience gained over many years in various roles at her previous GP Practice, NHS Trust and private enterprise.

Rota Co-Ordinator

The rota co-ordinator organizes staff work schedules (rotas) to ensure complete and efficient coverage within the practice. Their responsibilities include creating, updating, and communicating rotas, filling shift gaps with temporary staff or internal resources, and acting as a point of contact for staff regarding scheduling issues.

Secretaries

We have three secretaries who work closely with the doctors to send your referrals to the hospitals and administration staff to deal with all the other tasks involved with keeping your notes as up to date as possible.

Reception Staff

Our reception team is led by our Reception Supervisor, Sam (Ingleby Barwick) and Michelle (Thornaby). The team provides the first point of contact for patients attending our practices. In addition to their reception duties the team also perform a wide range of administrative tasks.

Coding and Scanning

Coding and Scanning team process the translating of patient information and treatments into standardised codes, called 'Read Codes' for structured recording. They also capture and digitise paper documents, such as letters, into the patient's electronic health record. This is essential for accurate record-keeping, enabling data analysis, decision support, proactive patient care, and streamlined administration.
